Ramakrishna Mission, Kasundia, is continuing the relief services to the families affected by the lockdown for coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

The momentum of the activities got a jolt in the month of January, 2020 when COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently Amphan Cyclone in May, 2020 and the resultant Lock-down changed the scenario of Bengal. Poor people cried for food and shelter. The volunteer of this Branch Centre led by monks went door to door of poor slum dwellers and distributed dry ration kits. Almost 7000 poor families got the relief and 3000 poor people were served with cooked food (Rice, Dal and Mixed curry).

Besides, 500 Tarpaulins were distributed to the most deserving families. The relief is still ongoing . The attendance of the devotees is now restricted in the temple as per the instructions from the Ramakrishna Mission , Belur Math (From 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.) until further orders.
